  1. Becca,
I love this game! The last level is so difficult! This can't be your first time using this! This prompt of creating a game with different levels would be a good way to have kids engage with this "material." It is open-ended enough that kids can make almost anything, but not so much that you can't challenge them or gauge where they're at with the learning. Your use of theme and sound are spot on! You might want to encourage students to create their own sounds to use in the game. I also saw your stop motion animation and the sounds there are also spot on. When it comes to relating processes to jobs in the art world you can use these lessons and relate them to sound creators/ editors for movies. That way they see that what they're doing is the same as what "real artists" are also doing. and relate the process to the other art related jobs in the industry. This project would definitely have to be after students are a little more familiar with the basics of the program, however. Overall, really great job!
